Mr B had
been involved in an accident at work which resulted
in him losing his foot. After submitting his claim to
his employers liability was vigorously denied. Using
a combination of our knowledge of the Health and Safety
at Work regulations together with effective negotiation
Mr B received £150,000 in compensation in under
two years.
Mr W injured
his shoulder at work whilst using incorrect equipment.
The Defendants refused to accept responsibility for
the accident and the case was taken to Trial. On the
day of the hearing the Defendants eventually conceded
liability and Mr W received nearly £70,000 in
compensation.
Mrs W tripped
over a defectively repaired paving stone breaking her
left wrist. Unfortunately this left her with an ongoing
disability requiring extensive treatment. Denials of
liability and refusal to pay reasonable levels of compensation
left Mrs W with no option but to proceed to a court
hearing. The Defendants finally agreed to meet the cost
of further treatments and the claim settled for £11000.
